  1. I note the suggestions that you go by coach, so I searched National Express - it will take you 4 hours by that mode of transport! Why don't people check their facts before rushing into print! The train will take 1hr 55m to 2hr 20m. There are loads of services, alternately north and south changing at Birmingham or Didcot. For full service details see thetrainline.com as someone else advised

  2. Use the National Rail Enquiries web site it's fantastic!

    Saver Return ticket is £27

    There are no direct trains

You can plan your journey with 1 change at Birmingham New Street

or alternatively go via Swindon and change at Swindon and Didcot Parkway

For a PDF map of your journey use the bottom link

  3. For Pete`s sake contact the railway station and put us out of

    our misery  ! ! !

  4. Didcot and possibly Swindon, if you get a London train from Gloucester.  (Bit of a long way round)

It's only about 50 miles by road, have you thought of the Coach?

    --------

Sorry, I didn't realise the coach went via Bristol.

The Bus service, however, takes just over 2 hours.

  5. Go on the website below and put the details in on the search on the left - it will tell you what you need to know about changing, and cost!

  6. Depending on the time of day, you can get a train direct from Gloucester to Didcot Parkway and another from there to Oxford.

Try www.nationalrail.co.uk and use their journey planner.

  7. you can check this on the train line, but there might be a  direct change or it could send you via Bristol or even Birmingham!   Why not look see if there is a more direct coach service than the train?  Hope your cat has stopped puking.

  8. The station would be a good idea

  9. Get a time-table...Sheesh!!!
