  1. What ever you don't put anything of value in your luggage. Mail it to where your going

  2. sounds to me like you probably shouldn't leave your hometown let alone the country.  it also seems to me that you pretty much have it planned so there's really no need to ask especially since it all really depends on what is most important to you.  I am not sure why the plane ride from the US will cost you 3 days.  should be more like a 6 or 7 hour flight I think.  as far as booking hotels in Italy, I have never been but I would think it would be pretty much the same in italy as the rest of the world.  call the hotel and tell them when you'll need the rooms or go online.

  3. dont waste all that money to go to london if you dont really have a huge interest in it. seeing that you dont have much time over there i'd say stay in paris for 3 nights then move on to italy from there. im taking a similar trip in november actually

  4. wherever you are you can find cheaper hotels in http://www.AmericaCheapHotels.com this compares hotel deals from 30 best travel websites.

  5. Paris and Rome are the biggest cities that deserve at least 3/4 days each.

From Paris you can take a night train to Venice, do the same from Venice to Florence and Rome you'll save on 3 hotel nights and get the most of your days, trains mostly leaves around 8 pm and arrives around 6/7 am.

Knowing this cities I would say Paris 5, Venice 2, Florence 2, Rome 4.

Try to find hotels close to the train stations for this 4 cities they are central.

    Bon voyage !
