If immigration's getting tougher, why are footballers allowed in so easily?

uk immigration's saying that only skills that can't be found in the uk can come in from outside the eu... yet footballers don't seem to ever have a problem moving to the uk. i'm fairly sure there are quite a few footballers in the uk!

  1. because they provide and important service to this country and because they earn so much the government can claim allot in tax and so this is profitable to the country

Any body can play football but professional footballers have a talent that simply cannot be found among ordinary punters & actually some of them do have problems getting into the country but you would be amazed at the number of South American football players who suddenly find a Portuguese granny in the family tree when it looks like their deal is about to be jeopardised
