  1. They call them crisps....

    There are lots of foods with two names, one for us & one for them....

    Biscuits are another one (cookies there), & minced meat (hamburger here)....

    :)

  2. Papas Fritas.....no,wait....that's in Mexico....never mind.

    Umm....Puh-TAY-Tow  CHEE-Yups!

  3. They call them crisps.........

    Windshield = windscreen

    Trunk = boot

    Hood = bonnet

    There is a site  that has a TON of words that they use.  Check it out......http://www.peevish.co.uk/slang/

  4. I think they call them crisps...

  5. crisps

  6. The same as we do, crisps or potato chips.

  7. They are called potato crisps.

  8. Crisps. What we call a "cookie" is a "biscuit". And a bread-roll is a "Bap". Sausages are "bangers" except red-hots which are "saveloys".

    And if a Brit suggests you knock-up his sister, for goodness sake find out what it means over there first. Ring her on the hooter.

  9. I"m American but I think they call them Crisps

  10. My proper English wife says "crisps."

    Interestingly, French Fries were invented in Belgium, not in France. In both France and Belgium they are called "Pommes Frites," pronounced Pum Freet.
