  1. I believe they call that hitch hiking :) I prefer not to get in the car with strangers. You can meet plenty of people on the bus, plus it's *safer*.

  2. Hitching is generally considered to be a bit dangerous these days.

I think its still big in the soviet block though...

I have done it once or twice... was a bit awkward.

  3. If it's people who i want to meet. Then, i would prefer a bus.

Getting into strange cars with unknown people is not safe and it seems a little scary. If its assumption working, then i would dream of a helicopter. If its the In charge thing, then I have got some responsibility and i would not harass anybody because of my own sweet authority. I would rather become a commoner and ride a bus.

  4. The bus offers "safety in numbers".  The car is someones personal space, and the driver most likely will not feel comfortable with you trying to be their being "friend".

I have always found that "nuetral ground" or open spaces with several other people around, are the best for meeting new people.  Open space helps keep the mind open too.

  5. Then I would hail an airplane, without knowing where it is going.  Duh, question!!

    Peace.

  6. ??? what were you on when you dreamt up this question?
