  1. So quickly?  What do you mean by "quickly"?  The universe is thought to be 14 billion years old, and it's been expanding ever since the Big Bang.  That's 14 billion years of expansion.

  2. Information didn't travel faster than light. The expansion of the universe is expansion of space, not expansion of matter or information through space.

  3. this is the problem that inflation theory addresses. how can parts of the universe have similar temperature and structure and stuff when there has not been enuf time since teh big bang for the information to travel between them?

    this shows up in the comic background radiation. scintists listen to it with special radios and play it at parties. it's really cool.
