If israel go to war with iran why is America going to help israel in the war u think America should?

America would help Israel because the United States and Israel have extremely strong and pretty much withstanding relations. And have ever since 1948 when Israel declared it's independence. Furthermore, the U.S. would not be hard-pressed to go to war with Iran – an Iranian attack on the U.S.'s Israeli ally would be a great invitation for U.S. force in Iran (and possibly and probably on Iran's allies, which include powers such as Syria and perhaps most importantly, Russia, maybe even escalating such a conflict into a world war).

I really don't know if the U.S. should, I do think Iran is a threat to the western world if not in practice at least in spirit. In better times, I would probably be more open to war with Iran, however, it is doubtful that America can afford such a war (both financially, and in man-power).

I never trusted Iran and still don't!  We should already be at war with them---not Iraq because Yasir Arafat was one of the first to express condolences after 9-11.  I personally believe they had a major role.

If anyone is the religious type, Israel is the chosen land and are suppose to assist them.

The way I see it---America are like pawns on a chess board and the rest of the world takes advantage of that.

Keeping iran and the Jewish from a major confrontation is going to be impossible.  The U.S. will always side with Israel and in many cases Israel would back us. Especially if an Arab was involved.

America and Israel are one and the same, just in different parts of the world. America will always help Israel, but not necessarily the other way round.
