  1. I want to say -2, but anything times 0 is 0.  I'm no good at math, sorry.

  2. There's no such thing as "2 times colder" to a meteorologist.

The only way you could compare one temperature to another would be if you zeroed the scale to absolute zero, which is 0° kelvin or -272°C.

  3. TOO COLD

  4. about -9 degrees C

  5. ?? no idea

  6. 00 degrees

  7. that is a d**n confusing question.

I tried to do it by converting to Fahrenheit, but I still don't know how to do it.What the heck does "twice as cold" mean?

    you got me....

  8. 20c

  9. Impossible to answer.  You need a third reference point in order to answer this question.  Here's how your question currently looks:

    Wednesday: 0 degrees Celsius

    Thursday: 2 times colder than yesterday= ????

    You need something like this:

    Tuesday: 5 degrees Celsius

    Wednesday: 0 degrees Celsius

Thursday: 2 times colder than yesterday = -10 degrees Celsius

  10. Based on a scale using absolute zero, assuming 0 kelvin = no heat. 0 C = 273.15 kelvin. Thus 273.15 kelvin/2 is half as "hot".

Answer is 136.575 kelvin, or -136.575 Celsius.
