  1. quite a bit actually. my water bill has been cut down considerably since i've adopted this method. my last water bill was 1/3 of what it previously was. i live in a house full of beer drinkers though.

  2. Oh it does help quite a bit actually. A normal toilet flushes 5 Liters of water with each flush. So if by just peeing in the toilet 3 times, you will save 10 Liters of water, which is three gallons. Not to mention if you do that more often. In fact, I probably flush about twice a day. I would guess that i save about 25 Liters a day! It may be tough with a large amount of people in one house, but living alone I have definitely adopted this. IT really does help with the water bill.

It also helps to take quick showers and not doddle in there. Makes a lot of difference and only takes a few min a day!

  3. I think it stinks!

  4. lol unless your in the shower

  5. Sounds about right to me. If we all would do simple things like this it would add up and make a difference.

  6. I believe that this is a really disturbing thing. Yes, water is recycled in water plants after you flush the toilet. If you just used the restroom and you flush, it costs you money. If you use the restroom and you don't flush and you wait till you use it and it's 'brown', then you save money and you are saving water. So no matter how gross it seams, i believe that you ARE saving water.

  7. sure

    but its gross. lol

  8. it helps but i want be waiting i flush after every use

  9. If enough people would do it, yes. It also reduces my water bill.

  10. I usually flush twice, because it's a long way to Washington.
