  1. I have never had any issues taking electronics with me, ie camera, camcorder, ipod, cellphone, laptop.  Its never been an issue.

  2. What are you bringing that might be seized?  And do you really need it with you?

I don´t think anyone is going to seize your ipod or your cell phone, your camera, the people in airports generally understand that you need these things on vacation.

What on earth are you planning to take along that you can't do without for a week?

  3. Is safe to take it in your hand luggage! I always carry them there! You just have to be carefull and not  loose it from sight.

  4. depends are you traveling from America? i think things are more likely to get seized there, but if you are traveling through Europe i wouldn't give it a second thought. i travel between Spain and Britain 6 times a year and i have never once had a problem and we take through a lot of electronics e.g. Xbox 360, Ipods, Mobiles, Laptops, PSP. the only one that causes a (very tiny) problem sometimes is the Xbox 360 (but all they want to do with it is scan it again right in front of you in the machines you just went through anyway, no problem) i always got worried at first thinking they wouldn't allow us to take so many on board in our hand luggage, but they have never said a word. the major rules now is about taking food on board, that's a NO NO (from England especially) and you cant take other electricals like hair dryers, curling tongs, hair straightener's etc on board.

  5. God knows, these days you cant take anything with you; because the security is really tough!!!

  6. Who would "seize" your electronics from your hand luggage?  The whole point is that you keep hour hands on it all all times...hold onto the strap, never set it down, keep it in your lap or under your seat on the plane, where no one can reach it.     Security personell are not going to "seize ' your electronics, there is no law against carrying them in your carry-on luggage.  Security personnel do not seize I-pods and hair curlers from your carry-on bag!  You do need to keep your eyes on your carry-on bag when it is  going through secuity.  yhe only way electronics in your hand luggage can be stolen is if you set the bag down and are not watching it...NEVER set it down.  See TSA site below to confirm that electronics are  ok to carry in your carry-on bag.  Anything not named as prohibited is allowed.

  7. I always take my phone, mp3, nintendo ds and laptop in my hand luggage..  I fly a lot and i've never had any problem in any country.
