  1. Most of the people I have seen do that are trolls.  Click on their name and look at their other questions and answers (if they haven't hidden them for that reason).  If on one question they are saying group x will go to h**l, but on the other questions is saying things like about the "Christ myth" or pointing out alleged inconsistencies in the Bible, they are most likely a troll.

Some Christians do it because they think this will get you to not do the bad thing and they think they might save you from eternal pain in h**l.  However, (at least to me), they seem to be more rare and mostly answer that when people ask specifically about things like -what will happen if I...  Also they seem limited to a small but active group of mostly specifically "born again" Christians.

If people don't want to see that, they might not want to ask "Am I going to h**l if I..." questions

  2. Because God's word tells us  Jesus is the way the life and the truth. I never condemn anyone to h**l, that's not my job. It's simple as choose to have everlasting life or death......Have a blessed day Jesus loves you ! bd

  3. God does not condemn people.People reject God

People do by not receiving His Son in their heart

How can you go to heaven if you reject Jesus?

Does that even make one ounce of sense?

    Me is correct

  4. We are not condemning people to h**l, we are merely stating Gods word of condemnation for unrepentant sinners, Gods word says that all men are born in sin and already on their way to h**l that is why they must be born again of water and of the spirit in order to be allowed to enter heaven and to be born again they must start by receiving Jesus into their hearts as their own personal savior. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9oSHQ3HG...

  5. People in R&S do not condemn people to h**l.  Only God can do that.

People can only point out the consequences of certain actions (or lack of action)  Beyond that it is wholly up to the individual to decide what course of action they should take.

They feel it is appropriate for them to point out the dangers as they see it.   Not out of a feeling of superiority, but out of concern.  They are only human, so when taunted, many rise to the bait, then get jumped on for shoving their beliefs down folks throats.  The sole purpose of the taunting is to get a reaction that will allow the taunter to make that accusation.  So in the end both camps start needling each other.

  6. It's an old idea. Everyone want to be the favorite child.

I am daddy's favorite, and he doesn't even like you. Just children at play.

  7. It just makes them feel powerful and more superior to the rest of us...Its just like a little kid running around the house teasing...Haha you're going to h**l and I'mmmm nottttt...Very juvenile and thankful I'm getting out of that garbage known as religion.

  8. Good question...one that caused me to be frustrated and angry with my fellow Christians for many years...and one that I finally figured out (vaguely) quite recently (after YEARS of asking this question)!

In essence, they make this mistake because they don't understand (at least not yet) what Jesus meant when he said he didn't come to destroy the law but to fulfill it (Matthew 5:17).  Don't worry, I won't quote it, but the reference is necessary to answer your question.

The "law" (as described in the texts of Moses...what Christians call the "Old Testament") DID delegate God's authority for condeming sin to human beings.  It explicitly gave human beings the right to prescribe and even carry out all sorts of punishments (including the death penalty) for the sins of others.  Thing is, some (too many) Christians are still operating as if BOTH of the promises offered by the law were still valid...when only one of them is still valid!

One thing offered by the law is that IF you are willing to follow the law, you can avoid doing things that cause harm to you or to anyone else...and Jesus assured us that not one "jot or tittle" of this law would be changed until ALL is fulfilled (meaning the end of time).

The other promise offered by the law is that IF you are willing to accept AND carry out the responsibility for punishing people who violate the law, you can avoid being hurt (individually or as a society) by the sins of others.  This is the part of the law that Jesus fulfilled!  In other words, he returned authority for enforcing the law to God alone (just as you suggested!!!).  In return, he promised that while we WILL suffer for the sins of others, he would give us the chance to live in a place where NO ONE is ever harmed by the sins of others when our life here ends!

Christians that think it is appropriate for them to condemn others to h**l for their sins believe (on some level) that if they can manipulate or scare other people in to obeying the law, this world will be a better place to live.  They obviously can't see what I think the Old Testament demonstrated so conclusively...that we siimply don't have the wisdom or ability to make this world a better place by condemning others for their sins.  Instead, our ONLY hope of making this world a better place is to do what Jesus commanded us to do...to LOVE others!

Note: with this perspective, the value of the law is completely personal...a source of wisdom we can use to identify people that need our love the most...when we instead use it to identify people to condemn as "unworthy", we are making the same mistake the pharisees made...using the law as a weapon that only God has the skill and wisdom to wield!

  9. We are already here.

  10. I would agree that is between God and the individual.  There is good evidence that the Bible does not support eternal torment.

  11. I have no idea..It`s just the Christians job to tell others...Not decide for them.

  12. we decide our fate by the decisions we make through out life. so where ever we go, its because we've made the choice.

if you accept Christ and try to be obedient to His word, you'll enter His kingdom

if you reject Christ then you will not enter His kingdom.

    the choice is yours.
