If he can't even take a stand on issues as a Senator, what good is he going to be as President?

  1. He can't, the invasion of Georgia by Russia is proof enough of that.

  2. He can't.

    Don't all fifth-graders say they're 'present', too?

  3. Obama is unfit for the highest office in the land at this time. He lacks the skills, the leadership and the courage necessary to be President.

His record as a State Legislator and Senator is embarrassing, it shows someone always playing it safe and always partisan when he did vote.

A President *has to make* tough decisions, even if they are unpopular. That is their job.

A President *cannot* hide from making tough decisions by simply showing up to work, declaring their present and then go home to do nothing.

  4. He cannot figure out a simple yes or no answer, as he doesnt have someone else telling him what to do.  Change is not an answer, and hope is not a destination.

  5. Simple yes or no on what topics? Abortion and same-s*x marriages? Anything that involve this country has NO simple yes or no answer.

Do you prefer someone who will rush to come up with an answer that hasn't been be thoroughly examined?

  6. He can't!!

  7. He really couldn't. He just isn't ready for the kind of responsibility that he would suddenly have and probably isn't emotionally ready for how high the expectations would be of him. That might sound like just another attempt at beating him down but it is the fact of the matter. He isn't ready to lead the country, especially in a time when it isn't doing as well as it could be.

Talk is cheap and for now with his campaign, it works. If elected though, Lord have mercy on us all if he makes a wrong move when he has to act on something rather than give exciting speeches about it.

  8. how many votes did he vote yes or no on?

a pocket veto is the same as voting "present"... pailin, even in her short career, has probably had a few of those... as Bush has had...

EDIT: how is he the most liberal senator, according to the record, if he never voted? more Republican double talk that contradicts themselves...
