6 hrs later is the time in Germany. This will be 6 pm.

Germany is 6 hours ahead of EST most of the time.  When the time changes though Germany could be 5 or 7 hours ahead for a couple of weeks.  The USA and Europe have their daylight savings time change at different weekends.

Germany is always six hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time, so if it is 12pm EST, it would be 6pm in Germany.

Germany is exactly 6 hours advanced of EST. For example, it is 2:19am EST where I am right now..so it is 8:19am in Germany.
