  1. as long as attic is vented not much more you can do-its normally hotter


  2. Unless you have vents to direct AC into an attic, you're lucky it's only the temp that it is outside.  Often It's a lot hotter in the attic, due to no ventilation.

  3. You must have gable end vents and or roof vents if that is all the hotter it is.  That is OK and natural.

  4. it is hot upstairs in my house too. it should be hot, because warm air rises, but it shouldnt be the same temp. inside as outside... u should install an airconditioner or get a mini fan, especially if you are working up there... it maybe 95 degrees but it can feel like 101.

  5. Attics need to be no hotter that 120 degrees Fahrenheit. If yours is over you should consider putting in an attic fan or some whirly birds on your roof.

  6. well since heat rises, i think it should actually be hotter in your attic.
