i wouldn't drink whiskey if it was first time drinking. its to strong and tastes to bad. a good first timer drink is vodka and orange juice or cherry vodka and coke zero. both very tasty and will get you drunk.

I would try beer or a hard cider (if you don't like the taste of beer) first so you can get a handle on your tolerance for alcohol. My friend didn't have his first drink until he was 19 years old, he drank a creamsicle and threw up.

Clearly you're set on trying the jack and coke to be cool so if you're going to go about it just try one and wait an hour or two as it can tend to be a lot stronger than its taste. Just don't take into the peer pressure... everyone is a lightweight if they haven't drank before or if its been awhile, you want to enjoy your first buzz, not vomit and make an *** of yourself the entire night.

ok, i tried it the first time i drank. i did try jack and coke. and since it was my first time drinking. it didnt have that much effect on me. idk it kinda depends on how old you are and how your body handles it. some times it dont take alot to get a person drunk. but some people they have to go through alot to get even tipsy. but idk since its your first time drinking you cant really tell. you just gota try it and then you'll know for future reference.

If you're going to mix it with coke, Jack is awfully expensive.  It's sippin' whisky for those who appreciate it straight.   If it's your first time.. well, anything will be a rush.  Do mix it with something.  LOTS of something.  And be careful.  Learn the ropes slowly.  If you're not careful alcohol can kill you.  If you treat it responsibly, it can be a pleasure.

Well that all depends..If your of age. Jack Daniels and coke is a hard drink. I don't like the test of alcohol so I stick with fruity drinks or wine coolers.

Maybe you should start with wine coolers.

Drink responsibly and know your limit. If your going to be drinking hard liquor then you should only have 1-2 drinks....I take that back only have 1-2 drinks anyway!
