If it my car smokes when i am driving sometimes what could that be?

Depends on what color the smoke is, but it could be to much oil in the engine... If it's black smoke. Overheating if it's white smoke. To name a few.

What Color of smoke-

White- You are burning water and your head gasket or head is bad.

Blue- You are burning oil, this could be many problems.

You could be burning engine oil, transmission oil your coolant could be leaking and what you need to do is have a mechanic look at it as soon as possible.

Where is it smoking? Under the hood or excessive thru the tail pipe? Blue tends to mean you are burning motor oil and white would mean water or antifreeze.

In any case, wath yourself so you don't cease your motor as it will run hotter that its supposed to and that could set you back US$1500 to US$4000 for a new engine and repairs.
