Question:

If it says 300ma on my ac/dc adapter will one with 500ma work?

The input is is: 120v 60hz 11va

The output says: dc 12v 300ma

This adapter is broken and I am shopping for a new one online. I cant find anything with the exact same numbers. What should I be careful for and what will work instead of this?
