If you're referring to President Grant, I can't help you.

If its Mrs. Grant, she wasn't a Grant before she married Mr. Grant, but at death she was.

If Grant was wanted either by the mob, or the police, its another person who Grant arranged to be put there, so he could get away.

Grants tomb might be where all the used-up grants are placed after they are used.

For one thing..Grant's tomb isn't a tomb at all as it is above ground..and it contains the sarcophagi of both he and his wife.
