Not really.  Feminism has for the most part succeeded in its goals in America.  How many days of discussion could be filled with the wage gap and no combat for women?  There are very few instances in America where women aren't equal or better off than men.  This board would be turned into a half-a$$ed discussion on the plight of women in cultures the western world can't begin to understand.

Speaking as an erstwhile misogynist troll, we are here to provide a balancing counterpoint to the shrill and inane blather spewed by the denizen Hysterical Harpies of this forum.  It's fun, plus it establishes the extreme parameters that help find sane middle ground for rational discourse.  I am fairly sure that most if not all of the Trolls and Harpies can be reasoned with if the topic discussed does not appeal to the worst of their nature.

You've had an id for 12 days and you think you know what is usually discussed in this forum? Or is this one of your many ids? The kids who hang out here and the haters ask and answer lots of stupid questions about feminists and women-the rest of us pick and choose what we ask and answer.Intelligent debate is present-you have to look for it carefully.Just because there's lots of stupidity present, doesn't mean there isn't interesting intelligent discussions going on.

I find the misogynist trolls funny, even though I am a bit of a feminist. Some of these feminists need to lighten up!
