If its easier to do evil than good, does it mean that in time, all people in this world will become evil?

This law states that in any closed system entropy naturally sets in and the system digresses .

This means that if things do not change then people in any closed society do become more evil.

But fortunately shift happens in the world as a powerful preventive mechanism.  

That is, when a system disintegrates into deep evil there is a natural and necessary correction.

When a system hits rock bottom the system rebounds toward good.

A practical current example is how the United States will rebound for the better on 1/20/09 after suffering eight years of profound evil under Bush and Cheney.

it is easier, but to be evil is to be selfish.  isn't evil motivated by the need to fulfil self desires?

but i feel there is some goodness in this world.  i cannot say if the whole world will become evil.  i like to be optimistic, but......

I think it is way easier to be evil than it is to be good. But like the other person said, the strong-hearted know how to overcome the temptation to become evil.

It's a matter of choice really. Some people choose to become bad, some choose to become good.

From your premise, of course evil would prevail. But I think people are basically good where there is a small fraction of 2% who are bad and another 20% that are severely affected by the 2%. That leaves about 80% who are doing and will be doing good. I've never met a person from the 2% in my entire life. They are very clever in hiding themselves or in high places of control, like Bush et al, and very distant.

but i think that if we are all good enough to others, being good would be so easy that being evil would be pointless.

No, it means that everyone has their flaws and will at some point make a mistake or take a short cut. There are some people who are stong enough to resist doing the wrong thing and there are some people who are weaker.

But i think that there are more people who are doing the wrong thing now a days and being "evil". But there are still those of us who do the right thing more often than not.

Try to have a little faith in people.
