If ive never done any legit or professional dancing can i still get in to a dancing school?

im a hip hop dancer and im good. ive never taken any classes and ive never done like "legit" or fancy shows. but ive won my school talent show and im really good and i have a lot of heart and determination becuz dancing is all i have. ive been dancing in my room since i was 7 and all ive ever done was like hard core hip hop (for those of u who don't kno what hip hop really is it's the stuff on that dance show on mtv) ive got like a lot of raw talent tho and dancing is really effortless for me and i pick up moves quickly. im in high school now and i was wondering if i could get in to any art schools wwith dance programs without having professional experience. but just based on talent. could i like send in a video of me dancing a few songs with my own choreography? im not counting on getting into any dance schools becuz i know its really competitive. but do they still look at people who havent had any legit experience but are still good?

A school is only if you're good enough. A highschool can offer all sorts of arts and give you experience but if you just picked it up one day and the went to audition the next day I'd say nooo.

The first and foremost thing is how good you are and don't stop learning and thinking you know everything when you tryout, people hate that.

Just do your best and show them you're stuff. Remember: School First then perfessional auditions for troups and such.

I have a friend who just started at a dancing school and she was just like you. She looked around and found a dance school to go to, talked to a dance instructor there and asked a few questions. I won't hurt to try. The dance instructor's there will have all the answers and will help you. Hope this helps.
