  1. The kids use the plastic supply box to keep some of their things separate. For example, the school may pass out a box of crayons per child - this way the child has somewhere to keep those crayons.

  2. probably to keep all the materials that the school already supplies. They are only 57 cents at walmart.

  3. they don't combine ALL the supplies. It depends on the teacher, I think. Last year` my daughter's class put things like glue sticks and pencils in a common bin. They kept a few pencils and thier crayons and A glue stick in thier box. The bulk bins were to replenish their boxes throughout the school year. also, if like my older son, they need special scissors (he's a lefty) they can keep those seperate from the class supplies.

  4. because there are some things that they don't combine like pencils

  5. They probably don't combine everything. My son's going into kindergarten and they aren't combining anything besides kleenex.

  6. Not all schools combine supplies..none of the schools my kids went to combined supplies except for paper towels, hand wipes and tissues.

  7. My daughter's been through Kindergarten and I'm not really sure even.  I'm thinking that they don't combine all the supplies.  Then when my daughter went into first grade, she would ask if she can take a special pencil to school and she probably put it in her plastic box.

  8. They probably will have some of their own stuff, like pencils and colored pencils, and combine other things that are bulk.

  9. for crayons markers pencils etc
