  1. Yes, build it on bricks ........ or, put it on a concrete slab so You dont have to worry about any moisture problems ...... just an idea ....... = )

  3. You should isolate the wood of the kennel from the ground and allow air to circulate underneath to remove moisture.

    Bricks are fine, but whatever you use, make sure the kennel is secure and won't fall or roll off.  Wouldn't want Rover to get injured.

  4. Yeah my German Shepard has a big wood dog house my neighbor built for him and we have 4 cinder blocks under it to keep it from getting wet. I don't have carpet in my dog house tho, I usually just put hay in there.

  5. if there is space between the bricks moisture will be present. pour a concrete slab about 2" in thickness. place kennel on top of it and anchor to slab.

  6. we had a siberian husky but we had to put her to sleep on friday but that isn't the point i do think you should put bricks underneath to keep out the dampness
