how do you live it out if you get 8 & 9 of clubs before the flop?

Certainly not.  You are not a card.  You don't have a suit, at least that type of suit.  And you are not limited to red and black, royalty or a number.

Live has more variables than you can imagine.

You never count your money

When your sittin at the table

There'll be time enough for countin

When the dealin's done

if life were a poker game, it wouldn't be hold'em. it would definitely be a no-peek game.

Depends on what kind of life you want. You can get excited about the possibility of a straight or flush and go for broke; you can fold, and wait for a better hand, or you can bet just enough to stay in the game, sit tight, and watch what happens. Life is, in fact, exactly like a poker hand. Everyone plays it differently, but at the end of the day, you play the cards you're dealt.
