If light enters your eye but does not properly form an image on your retina, which would you expect to happen?

-Everything would look completely dark.

-Your brain would get a signal for a blurry image.

-Your retina would not send a signal to your brain.

    actually that i just a good guess, but i figure that would be what would happen after taking acouple anatomy classes

C) Your retina would not send a signal to your brain.  The retina is a very complex and sensitive organ.  It receives a large amount of "noise" with the light, which it has to filter out.  If the image it receives is not clear enough, it will filter it all out as noise and not send anything to the brain.  In fact, this is the reason why most blind people are blind.
