I saw this fact on a commercial and it got me wondering...so assuming that it is true...Is there something in a man's physiology that attracts the lightning, or something in a woman's that repels it?....or is it just more likely that men are gonna be outside in a storm?

  1. The latter. Not only are they more likely to be outside, they're likely to be holding something metallic like a tool or a golf club. Though it isn't much of a factor, they're also a little taller, on average.

  2. More golfers, yardmen, outdoorsmen, home builders, etc., etc., are likely to be men outside exposed to the elements. (And less likely to have brains enough to come in out of the rain.  Yeah, I'm one of them.  Had two near strikes and still haven't learned.)
