I'd like to find all my old friends, male and female, and find out what their lives are like now.  Well, there are some new friends I'd like to see too.  And some relatives that live far away that I want to see before they die.  Also meet my ancestors.

Yesterday Or Today?

In the yesterday that wasn't,

I could have what I couldn't,

I said some things I didn't,

I would have what I wouldn't.

If the yesterday that wasn't were --

And all these things were true,

Would today be the today it is,

Or would it be different, too?

Would the yesterday that was, not be?

Would it have ever been?

Could we go back and forth between

And see what might have been?

Does yesterday define today,

Or today come on its own?

Can we not know what was to come,

Can our maybes be shown?

Could futures change based on the past?

Could pasts be rearranged?

Could nows that are refuse to be,

Because the past was changed?

Would going back to view the past

Make yesterday today?

And would tomorrow never come,

Or all days be today?

For now there is no going back,

But when I find the way,

I'll go back and I'll change the past,

And tell you yesterday.
