If little kids tell you that you're pretty, is that the truth then

Aren't little kids honest? Well, little kids usually tell me I'm pretty. Well, little girls. Lol. Older people lie more often, right?

I'm not trying to brag though, because it's not like I'm saying guys my age are coming up to me all the time flirting, it's usually just the kids (not flirting, but you know what I mean.)

When you  have low self esteem you won't believe anyone telling you that you're pretty!  Do you lie to people when they ask you if they are pretty?  Besides, there is way more to life than being pretty, prettiness fades and what's left is your personality, so that's way more important than beauty!

Kids are honest and are "attracted" towards beautiful things.  Perhaps it is because you have been influenced by society's view of "beauty" but they have not, so you wonder why you think they believe you are pretty.

Yes. I love the innocence of little kids. :) My niece goes "Auntie Cathy, are you Losing Your Weight", I was about to her, No it's just the black clothes, but I said..."I'm trying". :) Kids, they notice everything!

Well...Little kids are definitely honest (most of the time,) but they have little else to compare your looks to. They are offering their honest opinion, but may not be correct in that. I've seen little kids tell some ugly people they're pretty, but I've also seen kids be accurate in their judgments of beauty.

Yes - if you want an honest opinion ask a kid.  They can be brutally honest.

Children are honest.

I think it's so sweet when they do say stuff like you're pretty, etc.  It always encourages me because I don't get that alot either anymore especially from men.

Children will also tell you the truth about yourself even when it's something you don't want to hear, lol.
