  1. b/c when a girls on her period shes not bleeding to death she only loses about a cup of blood

  2. because we only loose about a pint of blood (not even that much) and its not coming from your veins

  3. it is not blood you lose but the lining of the uterus that would have nourished and started baby off right if there was one

  4. Because your shedding the lining of your uterus. It's cleaning your system out.

  5. that's blood for baby to eat, not blood for you

  6. Losing blood is only critical and can only kill you if it is in a massive amount.  The amount you lose on your period is pretty low--It's just just blood either.  It's tissue from the lining of the uterus.

  7. bc that is old blood that is in the lining of the uturus etc - its just shedding out like hair or nails

  8. because the blood on your period isn't coming from veins, it is just the lining of the uterus and some blood around that area, also expelling an egg, it will not kill you unless it comes from main veins or arteries, which periods don't.

  9. IT MAY SEEM LIKE ALOT  WHEN U HAVE UR PERIOD BUT WOMEN ONLY BLEED ABOUT 3-5 OZ ON THERE PERIOD

  10. because we don't lose that much of it. besides, it's mostly just eggs and uterine lining.

  11. Because you have to lose A LOT of blood to die from it.

  12. It's not all blood.  That dark red clumps of stuff is the uterine lining.  Good question though.

  13. yeah its just the inner walls of your uterus like shedding and i think thats why we get cramps =X but its losing blood we need to lose, just extra blood we dont need

  14. Hemoglobin below 12grams/ 100ml.in girls is known as anemia.1or2 gm.below 12 is not going to kill any one which is the case immediately after periods.Think of people donating a bottle or two of blood. It is recovered by the body with in 72 hours.Bone marrow is the factory producing hemoglobin.Menstruation is the cyclic discharge of blood, stripped off endometrium, mucus and an unfertilised ovum from  the uterus in the reproductive life of a female at an average interval of 28 days.It occures every month from puberty to menopause. It is absent a) before puberty b) during pregnancy c)during lactation and d) after menopause. The menstrual flow lasts between 4-6 days.During each cycle ,the uterine mucosa undergoes proliferation. The purpose is to prepare a suitable bed (endometrium) for the reception and implantation of the fertilised ovum.If pregnancy takes place the endometrium is converted into placenta. If pregnancy does not take place the endometrium breaks down and is discharged as menstruation. As the blood lost is recovered very quickly, the girls are very safe.Hope this answers your quarry fully.

  15. There are only 4 to 6 tablespoons of blood lost due to menstruation... not enough to kill you.
