If lost, how much does an orthodontic retainer cost to replace, or does insurance pay for it?

  1. $350-500 to replace and insurance does not cover it.

  3. Yes, the previous poster is correct, they range in price greatly, but they certainly are not cheap.

    If you need one, try and work out a payment plan with the Orthodontist....afterall, it's not like you can pick one up on Craiglist :>

    I wish I could help you further, people call me all the time to save almost 60% on their kids' braces, but with a person who is already in treatment, our benefits are not applicable.
