Man has not caused the planet to warm, and global warming causing by man is only a fairy tale at best.

If it were true, then we could undue global warming by doing just the opposite of what we are doing now. End civilization as we know it by doing away with all modern conveniences. No industrialization's at all. Keep everyone in the dark, with no electrical power, no running water, no automobiles, but have a Star Bucks for the liberals who still want a good cup of coffee.

Oh; You could keep only one city called “ The village”, with all its modern comforts. Only the beautiful people can live there. In this way, we would save our planet Earth.

They could, by there advance technology, control the weather; Global Cooling, Global Warming… and even the clouds. Everyone else on the planet would have to live under the stars.

It's not cooling.  2005 was the hottest year on record, and 2007 was tied for second hottest.

There is no global cooling.

Two things govern temperature now.  Weather and global warming.  Weather can be warmer or cooler, global warming is always warmer.

When weather is warmer, ie goes the same way as global warming, you get a _really_ hot year, like 1998.

When weather opposes global warming, you get a somewhat cooler year, like 2007.  Still pretty warm for the last 100 years.

This was just one below average winter, which doesn't mean a thing.  It happened in 1982, 1991-1992, 1999-2000.  EVERY TIME global warming came back stronger than ever.  Proof.

Bob - How can you say there is no Global Cooling. The little ice age only ended in 1850 but to begin this period the earth had to cool down. By stating there is no global cooling you are saying that Ice ages can not occur, which is common knowledge that they did.

Also January of this year was the coldest since 1932, although that's only one month its still global cooling and direct statements should not be used.

I also would like you to point to HadCRUT, RISS and UAH with reference to global warming instead of only using GISS.

J S - 2005 and 2007 were not even close to the hottest year. 1998 is the current highest year since 1897.
