  1. i think that there still would be this planet has been through worse. its just a cycle that earth has to go through.

  2. I think if that would of happened instead of worrying about global warming we would be worrying about another ice age (if were smart enough at that time).

  3. Most every scientist does, and others who have studied the issue.  Because of the data.

"I wasn’t convinced by a person or any interest group—it was the data that got me. I was utterly convinced of this connection between the burning of fossil fuels and climate change. And I was convinced that if we didn’t do something about this, we would be in deep trouble.”

Vice Admiral Richard H. Truly, USN (Ret.)

Former NASA Administrator, Shuttle Astronaut and the first Commander of the Naval Space Command

Here are two summaries, short and long, of the mountain of peer reviewed and repeatedly verified data that has convinced the Admiral and others:

Would there have been some warming without industrial development?  Maybe.  Would stone age man have responded by simply wandering to somewhere the effects weren't a problem?  Surely.

But there would have been nothing like the severe man made warming that threatens disaster for our modern society with major coastal development and intensive agriculture through mechanized farms.

  4. Global warming is part of a natural Earth cycle but what does it matter if it's happening or not? What baring should this have on how we've chosen to live? Surely we should understand that we are wasteful, gluttonous consumers without the need for Global Warming telling us. We should want to change our ways irrelevant of environmental cues. We should want to change our ways because our current behaviour is that of ignorant, dangerous fools not befitting the wise, enlightened species we are supposed to have become!
