  1. He was found innocent!!

  2. McCain was totally cleared of blame and was the only person who knew anything about the case who had the guts to testify in court to convict Keating.

The Democrats who WERE guilty wouldn't take responsibility or help put the guy in jail.

    How's that for jerks??????

The 4 Democrats are the ones you should be pointing fingers at.

  3. What he means is he abhors wasting money by giving it to people who will blow it on junk like food and housing when it could go for fancy cars and yachts and elite S**t like that.  Or WMD's.

  4. Wow another Ron Paulian.    Ok here is another....  WAKE UP AMERICA ! ! ! !    The educated, most caring, most experienced politician is being ignored.  Why?????  Because he did well enough delivering babies, AS A REAL DOCTOR,  that he can't be bribed?  Sounds like the truth to me.   Just word to all followers,  don't completely trash our relationship with the GOP because to win in 2012 we need a major party.  Remember we all made splashes,  and if they ripple till 2012 you can call it wave.

  5. They just say anything. Just like them saying Cindy cares about kids but doesn't want the kids in this country to have parents who can afford to do anything but be work & be sick & drink her beer.

  6. Funny, as I recall McCain was cleared of any wrongdoing by the investigation. The people that had a problem were the 4 Democrats that were not cleared.

  7. Forgot about that, probably the age or just typical Republican selective memory.

Though he was not convicted of anything, McCain intervened on behalf of Charles Keating after Keating gave McCain at least $112,00 in contributions. In the mid-1980s, McCain made at least 9 trips on Keating's airplanes, and 3 of those were to Keating's luxurious retreat in the Bahamas. McCain's wife and father-in-law also were the largest investors (at $350,000) in a Keating shopping center; the Phoenix New Times called it a "sweetheart deal."
