My friend forgot to pay her medical insurance because she was ill and it was cancelled by the company. She just found out. Is there anything she can do? (She has high medical bills and existing medical conditions.)

  1. She can ask, but if she has existing medical conditions and high medical bills it's doubtful that the insurance company will take her back on the same terms that she had, unless she had those problems before getting on that policy. If she did not have have those conditions she will be underwritten and the company can decline, rate up or rider those conditions.
