If men had a say in abortion.......?

ive heard pro-lifers encouraging men to get involved. But I wonder, would more fetuses be saved or aborted?

I say abort and avoid expensive child support.

I have done some reading and was amazed to earn that the procedure for abortion is a simple one.  

Hold  1 x 1 meter length of wood in hands.  

As the carrier of the fetuses walks past raise your wood and bring it down on the back of her head several times.  This solves all problems.  

She wont do that again.

i'd say aborted, we (men) don't have the instinct to save babies like women, we're wired with the instinct to save or protect the woman thats carrying it so i'd think that most men would be pro-choice.

but i'm not saying we would just say yes to abortion without question, there would still have to be a drastic explanation for it. such as rape, disability or any kind of fatal complication.

i also thing that if the woman doesn't want the baby for personal reasons (like shes "poor" or she just out right doesn't want a baby) and there is a guy that does want it, he should have the right to adopt it. why loose a baby that could have had an awsome life with his/her dad.

I personally am pro-life (leaning at least)

I cherish life, and i believe it starts after conception.

Who knows what those aborted babies could have grown up to be...

Although, I would say aborted.

I aint payin no child support! Shoot!

I choose, however, not to knock up a girl who i dont want to spend my life with...

Every man is different. Most unmarried men dont want kids for various reasons. Lack of commitment, it was a one night stand, scared, jobless or many other things. But I think if I guy wanted the baby then yes he could  change her mind. Just to give you an example ( Im pro-life) Say my girlfriend or wife gets pregnant and shes scared of having a baby because of what others think or her parents might do, or maybe if shes selfish and cares to much about her fading looks. I could step in and reassure her that I will be stand by her through it all and that I love her and that id love to have a child with her....only a very selfish women could say no and have an abortion.

If I were with someone and they got an abortion without discussing with me first, I would be FURIOUS! If a woman is in a relationship, a man had BETTER have a say!

Yo Stray we don't have a say. Yeah you would be pissed I would too but when it comes down to it the law says only they can say whether the kid goes or not.

More men would push for an abortion then would push to prevent one.

You doubt it... how often do you hear about boyfriends pressuring a woman to have an abortion? Men have gone as far as murder to avoid child support.

It has been statistically proven that when a woman is pregnant is when she is in the most danger from domestic violence.... why do you think that is?

Aborted.  2 of my 3 kids dads asked me to get an abortion.  I didn't listen to them, I'd rather have them pay child support.

It depends soley of the guy.

I know that if I did not want to have a abortion but the man did, I would not let the law make me have a abortion, that's for sure.

However, if the man wanted to keep the baby and I did not, I would suggest adoption, or for him to raise the baby on his own.

I do not think it would make a difference though, even if a man did get involved. The fact of the matter is, everyone would disagree if it were two people's choices and the law only seems to cater to one of them.
