  3. you bet ye, if only the government stopped lying to us.

  4. With the way the media portrays us, I am ready to have the Obama government take care of me, because I cant care for myself.  Just give a zanax, tv with just Maury, Springer and court shows on and I'll be as happy as a clam.

  5. Justified? Maybe. But Americans are not known for "giving up." We lived through the Great Depression and strong leaders, like FDR, got us out. If depression is Clinical or economical; ideas and percerverence are the solution. Giving up is not a solution.

  6. Americans don't give up.  We will be just fine :)

  7. As an American, I'll give up the day I wont have to wait to get into a restaurant, and I wont have to drive around on a parking lot to be able to find a parking spot on a shopping center or at the movie cinema,..........not a second earlier!

  8. The only people who are falling for the 'depression' news flash are News Junkies, people who are unwilling to work, people who will not better themselves and the chronic 'woe is me' crowd.

The rest of us are continuing the daily grind and worrying about important stuff.

"Despairing Americans" spent $400,000,000 to watch a clown wander around in a cape. That is usually NOT a sign of nation wide depression.
