  2. they're not considered "immediate" family which is why I assume they don't get a special label..

  3. Just call them relatives.   They could be siblings of one another, or they could be totally unrelated to each other.  But they are your relatives.

  4. Extended family.

    Parents and siblings are considered immediate family...in America anyway. It changes from culture to culture. Some cultures consider aunts and uncles to be 2nd mothers/fathers.
