  1. if your talking about yourself i would suggest talking to a doctor about that. not random people on the internet.

  2. My mother is O+ and my father was O-.  My sister and I ended up both being O+.

  3. If the mother is a negative blood type and the baby is a positive blood type which with me (ab-) all my kids were positive blood types then yes. Most likely nothing would happen in a first pregnancy. But without Rhogam after the first pregnancy if the mother was to get pregnant again then the body would attack that baby as it would have antibodies from the first baby. If that makes any sense? But your answer is yes it could.

  4. the baby's blood and the mother's blood doesn't interfere with one another, unless the placenta ruptures. the blood type with an -Rh factor, is a high risk pregnancy. it could result in bed rest.

  5. there is a shot that they give you when the rh's are different.  it is usually around the 5th month .   not a bis deal, usually.

  6. Yes there is a chance it may happen. My mother was O - and my father was O + and my mother's body started rejecting me when she was 8 months. I was premature and she almost bled to death.

The good thing is now they have medicine to prevent this from happening. Just need to make your doctor aware, so they can prescribe you the medication.
