  1. I always thought they should call it a douse instead of a di. I don't think the rules make much sense either =)


  2. Because houses is correct.  It makes more sense if the plural of mouse is mouses instead of mice does it not?

  3. The usual joke is "Is 'spice' the plural of 'spouse' "?  Or 'bi' the plural of 'bus'?  The English language has many irregular plurals, and they don't necessaily translate to words that rhyme or resemble them.
