If my 11 month old has an outie, will it always be an outie?

Im talking about her belly button. Some how she got an outie. Is it common for babies to have outies that turn into innies later or is this a permanent outie? By the way..its a BIG outie..kinda funny looking

  1. Have you mentioned it to your doctor? It might be a umbilical hernia. Nothing major usually infants who have these go away on there own. My daughter is 7 months and her's sticks out when she cries... But just a little. Call doctor and ask if you are worried about it.  


  2. Most outies are with boys, but they are common/ My son had one and it is not like that anymore. It will be normal eventually...Ask the doctor if it will go back to normal

  3. No i dont think so, my cousin had a HUGE outtie, she is now 6 and its completely flat, no work done

  4. My daughter has an outie and she has had one all of her life. She is 18 months old and i think it is just so cute. Especially when she is in a bikini. Imperfections are what make you beautiful.
