  1. the max pell grant next year if you attend full time and meet a million other requirements is $4,731.00.  You would get half in the fall and half in the spring.

THe max Stafford loan depends on your classification (dep vs independent) and grade level.

You will prob qualify for Work Study and perhaps a perkins loan as well.

  2. To be honest, that completely depends on your school's program. Some colleges give more grants + loans while others do not. FAFSA doesn't really distribute aid, it's just a measurement used by most colleges to determine amount of aid. Although based on your EFC, I'd say they're going to give maybe 60% + can then you have to make up the rest by work-study, working, etc.

  3. Here are the hard facts.  The rest is up to you:

You are eligible to receive the maximum Stafford loan allowed by your grade level.  This is also influenced by the university you attend. (Ask your school about your annual limit)

You will be receiving the maximum Pell Grant of $4310, unless it raises again this year

Your school also has a limited fund pool for Perkins Loans and FSEOG grants.  Also be sure and ask about the ACG (academic competitiveness grant), if it applies

Your school should be sending you a tentative award letter listing the exact dollar amount, broken down in terms of loans (sub and unsub) and grants.  Good luck!
