Question:

If my LMP was June 4th... and no period yet?

I think I ovulated late because I felt ovulation pain around june 29, then we had intercourse 23rd, 24th, and 30th... so if I ovulated late and conceived late, and now since I was expecting a period around July 7th-10th... would a HPT work already.

People state a HPT should work two weeks after conceiving or when you miss your period, but for me two weeks after puts me at 1 week after my missed period at around july 15th.

So when should I test because I have no period but a very light brownish or off white discharge that started like july 14th or 15th, and about 1 week after intercourse I started getting frequent headache/dizziness, frequent peeing, sligthly sore tender breast, and lower abdominal and lower backache as if I were on my period but nothing until July 14th with slight discharge but not enough for a pad.

When should I take a HPT and if I still have no period and HPT would be negative would that mean I am not pregnant or should I wait to retest? Please help any advice, suggestions, opinions, or even if this has happened to someone??

  1. I think a HPT should definitely work by now. If it comes up negative, call your doctor and set up an appointment for a blood test. Hopefully this is your month! good luck and Baby Dust!

  2. yes an hpt would be accurate now! def. take one....it's accurate as long as it's been at least 12 days after your ovulation date, so def. try one, you can also ask a doctor online for free for an opinion, try www.FertilityTies.com

    good luck!!!
