  1. Plastic Bags not only can cause your keet to choke, but they may have many chemicals that can be extremely harmful to its health. Also, in order to be a owner that is close to a parakeet you can't be that scared of her.

  2. If you can't touch her, WHY THE FREAK DO YOU HAVE HER? No duh, it's bad.

  3. Yes, it could hurt her if she swallows any of it.  It could get stuck in her throat or in her digestive track and really make her sick, if not kill her.  Keep any bags away from the cage.

  4. Unfortunately if you are scared of your pet, the pet isn't getting all the love and attention it needs - and it reacts to your being scared.

And YES plastic should not be part of any living creatures diet it IS harmful.  It doesn't digest, and once in the birds stomach is can't generally be passed thru - so it takes up digestive space and could cause 'starvation' since the bird could be deprived of nutrition

  5. Yes, you shouldn't let the budgie peck at plastic bags. In the wild, birds get killed by the buildup of plastic in their digestive tracts.

If you have a phobia about touching the budgie, get some cotton gloves from the drugstore.

If you're scared of the beak, get some lightweight gardening gloves.

  6. Yes it can sicken her or kill her. If cant touch her yet then try gloves or a stick to start with. maybe not a good pet for you .
