I know that he won't be completely filled out until he is like 2 or so...

But based on that info... About how big is my guy going to get?

  1. 100-170 pounds.

yeah they are ginormous dogs :D

  2. he will end up getting bigger really when he is full grown he might end up weighing at least 133lbs @ the age of 2 but you never know and it depends on how big his dad was like muscle wise. he will end up being a pretty big dog! who knows he might weigh more then 133 it just depends i really don't know i never had one i only own 116 rotties and 4 chihuahua's

  3. What does the breed standard say? And go from there.

Your DO know what the breed standard is don't you.

  4. Holy h**l, 60 lbs at 5 months? Wow.  I'd say 100-120 but he could get even bigger than that.  It is hard to say without seeing him.  I bet his vet could give you a pretty decent guess, though!

    edited to add: Hooray Wikipedia!

  5. I would guesstimate that he is going to be around 130 lb or more since he is already more than half of a hundred. If you knew about how much his parents weighed, that could probably help you guess how much he will weigh.

  6. hard to say for sure..but I'm gonna bet your looking at 100-120#  My daughters friend has one...looks like a horse.. but, what a great dog!

  7. A male bull mastiff can weigh 110 to 135 lbs when full grown.  Your vet can give you a healthy range when he is full grown.  These bulky dogs should be kept in a healthy range so as to not be overweight. (This is one dog you don't want to call fat!)

  8. His current size may be based on what you are feeding.  Do not power feed or give supplements, a good puppy food is all you need otherwise you can end up with significant joint problems.

The best determination of your dogs size is his parents. They tend to end up pretty close to their parents sizes.
