  1. 750-1000 RPM is the norm.


  2. sounds pretty normal to me, maybe on the higher end though, but it depends on your engine

    set the idle lower

  4. it is a little high.  manual trans car is usually 750 rpm.  i believe an automatic is around 550 to 650.  its way to high for an automatic.  it'll use more gas.
