I got in a wreck and i was at fault. The kelly blue book value is $10 625. I was wondering one. if it looked totaled. and two. me being 17 how much might this raise my insurance? i got a simple ticket for following to close but the cop said that will more than likey be dropped cause it was my first ticket.

  1. i have to answer the same way as i did 5 minutes ago with your same question. no the car is not even close to being totalled. your insurance will fix the car


  2. you car is no where near totaled, they will fix it with no problem but your insurance is going to sky rocket on you if they don't cancel you.

Sorry, your car hasn't been worth $10,000 for several years, regardless of what KBB says.  That is nowhere near totaled, unless there is some unseen damage.  Being a common color(black) I'd repair it with junkyard parts for under $500 if I were you.  Your insurance will skyrocket.  As it is, neons tend to have extremely high insurance rates, this won't help.

  4. No the car is not totalled. Yes, your insurance will go waay up because you are young and you were at fault for the accident.
