  1. Not necessarily! In several states you can be fined $400 for driving a car without the current registration displayed even if you already have the sticker in your pocket.

  2. It makes no difference. If you're driving an unregistered vehicle, you will be booked. Basically they (police, RTA, courts) will say it's your responsibility to make sure your car's registered.

There is no time period where you can continue to drive unregistered. Monday or after you can drive the car ONLY to get a pink slip or to get it registered (you have to take it by the most direct route, closest available site).

If you have registered it and are still displaying the old label, you can be booked.

  3. Im pretty sure that as long as you have actually paid it then it wont matter if you are still waiting on the sticker. Maybe you could just keep the receipt with you when driving just in case.

Im really bad when paying my rego - i usually pay online the day its due to expire. Then i drive around for a week or so while im still waiting for my sticker, but as long as its been paid, then you should be covered no problems.

    Have a great weekend!!!
