  1. Whether it is the school's insurance or yours, you can find out by calling the Board of Education in your area. Tell them you need to know this before you enroll your child in their school system. Now for your insurance company, just tell them that you need to know what specifically they cover, in the home, on the outside of your property, in school and elsewhere. This pretty much covers the entire picture. I wish you a most positive experience.

  2. I work at a private child care preschool. In our handbook, it says we are not liable for something that happens if the child get hurt with us.  So it depends on where it was, and what kind of policies they have.

  3. I had a daycare in the state of Florida.  When each new child enrolled we gave the parent brochures on school insurance, the same one that the public schools offer to children.  It was very reasonable and covered accidents in the daycare.  I also had liability insurance that also covered those kinds of things.

  4. Check with the preschool and ask what their insurance company covers and what insurance company they have.

  5. Well, i work for a certified daycare in the state of indiana, and typically any daycare that is certified usually has insurance. However, they only have insurance if the child's injury resulted in the negligence of the daycare or daycare provider. So hope that helps...
