If my computer has a virus, will my laptop also get a virus if we're sharing the same network?

I have this trojan virus in my computer called Trojan.Brisv.!inf and Norton cant seem to delete it. I was wondering if my laptop will also get affected by this virus since were using the same network. and if u know how to get rid of that trojan virus, can u please explain. thanks

and one more question.. i have this virus on my external drive and its affecting all my mp3 files and when i try to delete them, it wont let me because it says its in use when im not even using them. is there any other way of getting rid of them?

  1. If the virus is advanced enough then yes. To get rid of your virus try downloading a better virus scan. You can call the geek squad or someone like that to help you if your having problems. Also, try getting rid of your songs by searching your computer for them and then deleting them. One other thing to do before you do anything else, go to control alt delete then task manager and then processes and if you see the Trojan there try deleting or disabling it.

  2. There is the probability that your laptop may get infected not just by the trojan but also from other viruses if you don't have a firewall. Your mp3 files one of them or more may be infected and you may have to delete them if can't be disinfected. Buy defender pro 5 in 1 I had a trojan also and it wiped it off it also has a firewall which will protect your computer from other viruses, spyware, adware and malware programs. If you want to buy it its for 20 bucks at wal-mart.
