go to avast.com

it's a anti-virus/spyware protector.

download it ..

only takes 5 min's max..

and then restart your comp ..

and then let it scan your comp..

and if there's any viruses it will remove them..

but if you ever have a virus..

always try getting rid of it..

Don't ever log off your comp..

b/c sometimes you could have a tracker or a type logger ..

ip locker etc viruses ..

where ppl can hack your comp without you knowing ..

You can very well use it but the thing is that your computer might be slow or it might behave in an abnormal way. It depends upon on the virus. Some virus doesn't allow you to install a anti-virus software. It is better to remove it as soon as possible to stop it from replicating. Earlier the better.

you can use the pc as long as your not going online because the virus could download other viruses into the pc via internet without you know.. so my advice is to first get an antivirus program and scan for the virus and delete it.... then from there get some anti spyware programs and scan again because spyware will also allow the downloading of viruses without your knowledge.. once this is all done your pc should be fine.. if you pc still is having some problems take it into a professional and see if there is something else wrong with you pc besides the virus that once was there

turn your computer off and take to place like geek squad. Also buy an anti-virus program to rid of it. do not download any programs from the internet. you should also get firefox.

You can use it...if you want to make the matter worse... Every time you open a document you can lead it further and further in... best to take it in and get it wiped or wipe it yourself

You can still use your pc.  presuming your using Windows and not linux, then chances are your virus is already in most of your computer anyway, since windows doesn't take and automatic steps to prevent viruses from having free reign over your computer.  Use a virus program such as NOD32 or Free AVG 8 and Spybot.  Good programs.
